Tonya is a highly rated board-certified nurse practitioner who graduated from the University of Saint Joseph with a Master’s degree in nursing. Her credentials include more than seventeen years of experience working with adults afflicted with complex medical and co-occurring intellectual and psychiatric disorders. The University of Saint Joseph provided the education for her Advanced Practice Nursing role. It focused on providing care across the lifespan from age 6 to 99 earning a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification via the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC). Working in the inner-city outpatient community setting, her diverse experiences have prepared Tonya for an Advanced Practice Nursing role with a broad spectrum of focus, including managing disorders such as substance abuse, mood, anxiety, intermitting explosive disorders, and ADHD.
