Andrea Razook LICSW, MSW, MHP, EMMHS has over 15 years’ post-MSW experience working in a combination of settings within community mental health, international social work, hospital, and private practice as a psychiatric social worker. Andrea graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelors in Social Work and Anthropology and then began working in community development in South America. In 2011, Andrea graduated with a master’s degree in Social Environmental Studies from Universidad Latinoamerica de Ciencias Sociales Sede Ecuador (FLACSO). Andrea then graduated with a master’s degree in clinical social work from Barry University. Andrea provides expert case consultation for mental health providers and healthcare professionals regarding clinical considerations for the treatment of dissociation, complex trauma, preverbal attachment disruptions, and perinatal presentations particularly for populations of color. She focuses on the interchange among cultural processes, nature, attachment, somatics, and historical representation across the lifespan. Andrea specializes in neurodirect therapies including Brainspotting (BSP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Andrea identifies as a BIPOC provider, is of Chinese Lebanese heritage and bilingual in Spanish and English. Andrea is also a trainer for the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) WA chapter and maintains a private practice based in Washington state.
