Sophia Ngo, LCSW, PPSC
I’m Sophia Ngo, LCSW, PPSC, a trauma therapist and the founder of Wild Lavender Therapy. I work with adults who may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that are difficult to change. Many of my clients are navigating trauma, anxiety, attachment wounds, or relationship challenges, and often find themselves repeating the same dynamics in relationships or struggling with self-doubt, emotional burnout, or a sense that something deeper needs attention.
In my work, I integrate approaches such as EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients process unresolved experiences and better understand how the past continues to shape their present. Together, we explore emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and the ways the nervous system holds onto stress and trauma.
As an Asian (Vietnamese) American therapist, I’m especially passionate about supporting AANHPI and other BIPOC clients who may be navigating cultural identity, intergenerational experiences, and the pressure of balancing personal needs with family or societal expectations. My goal is to create a thoughtful, grounded space where clients can gain clarity, heal from past experiences, and develop more secure and fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.
