Sheri Stephens, MFA, LMHCA, ATR-P, Birds Flying Free Art Therapy Studio

I am a African-Amerian and African-West Indian Art Therapist who grew up in the Central Area of Seattle in the Black and West-Indian community. I have 15 years experience working for the Kent School District as a certificated teacher with a k-12 art and 4-12 English endorsement, and
over 40 years experience as an artist and art mentor. Currently, I own and manage Birds Flying Free Art Therapy Studio where Covid safe, in studio, individual sessions are available year round and outdoor group sessions are available in the summer. My therapeutic approaches prioritize the needs, strengths, and values of each client through Person Centered Expressive Arts, Strengths Based, and the Biopsychosocialspiritual approaches to mental health and wellbeing. I endeavor to provide a safe and supportive space for clients of all backgrounds, cultures, and orientations. I do not have all the answers but I believe your answers are within you and Art Therapy can be valuable to help you find them. No art skill or experience is needed!
