I come to therapy knowing you’re the expert in your own life, and I’m ready to learn alongside you. You’ve made it this far, which means you already have incredible skills to make it through tough times. But you may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or lost in the process, and you don’t have to go it alone. I will partner with you as you discover your unique strengths and resources for growth.

None of us exists in a vacuum—we live within complicated environments, systems, and life experiences that impact our well-being. Clients of mine learn to recognize the influence of these larger forces on their mental health, while also gaining concrete skills for self-care and resilience.

Clients describe me as down-to-earth, compassionate, and collaborative. They’re surprised to find themselves laughing in therapy. I approach each person I meet with curiosity, empathy, and openness. When a client feels unconditionally accepted, understood, and heard, then I’ve done my job.

Outside of the therapy room, I can be found writing, immersed in a graphic novel, and cooking my family’s traditional Persian recipes. Time with my wife, friends, and family fill me up. I love exploring nature with my dogs. I’m also actively engaged in queer and disability cultures, and provide university lectures and community trainings on disability advocacy issues.
