Hi, I’m Mojdeh. I am an Iranian-American licensed therapist. I am a child of immigrant parents. I was witness to my parents experiencing their feelings of grief as they lived far from family, friends, and their native country.

As a woman of color, I deeply understand the experience of not being seen, heard, or included. I have experienced racism and sexism as I’ve navigated the world as an Iranian woman.

I am aware of the under-representation of BIPOC clients and therapists in the therapy room. This has led me to want to connect with clients who hold marginalized identities. In our work together, we can begin the process of examining systemic issues, healing intergenerational trauma and advocating for social change.

I bring many values to my work as a therapist. I approach our work with love and compassion. I believe it is very important to create trust and safety in the therapeutic process. I want you to feel understood and supported in our work together.

I center social justice in my work with clients. I want you to be truly affirmed in who you are and to feel empowered to make change in your community. I would be honored to work with you and join you on your healing path.
