Manny Kaur, LMHC

Our mind-body connection is extremely powerful. When we are stressed, we may experience physical bodily discomfort and/or mental health concerns that cause difficulty functioning in everyday life. This is completely normal! I encourage you to close your eyes and listen for two to three minutes. Do you hear that little voice in your head? It takes awareness and practice to navigate this little voice, the one that speaks to us 24/7, for it to assist in our healing journey.
In my practice, I utilize a holistic, person-centered, and solution-focused approach to support you in how you would like to better your life. I have been trained to be aware of and am very sensitive to cultural values and systemic oppression. My job is to be your unbiased third-party sounding board to help you process your thoughts, behaviors and emotions.
I applaud you for seeking help as this is the first step to healing. It can be difficult to start therapy for multiple reasons including cultural stigma, self-doubt, and/or fear. The benefit of starting therapy is it can improve your overall wellbeing by bettering your communication skills, learning how to regulate your emotions, and developing healthy coping skills to manage stress.
