Lu Jackson, LMFT

Tired of feeling down, anxious, or simply not your best? Ready to do more than just talk about it? If so, body oriented therapy may be for you. With body oriented therapy, we will explore not only your thoughts and emotions, but also the physical sensations, postures, and gestures that come with them. This is important because tuning into your body can help you understand your feelings, thoughts, and life experiences more deeply. This understanding can support you in being the person you want to be and creating the life you want to have.
My primary role as therapist is to support you in achieving the goals you have for yourself and your life from the inside-out. People that work with me are able to sense my warm and welcoming presence right away. They feel comfortable being themselves, they feel seen for who they really are, and they are reminded of what’s great about them.
The foundation I stand upon is the belief that, regardless of your past, you can create a life that is more healthy, happy, and love-filled. If you feel that body-oriented therapy is for you, contact me for a free consultation to see if I’m the right therapist for you. I work with individuals and queer couples.
