Lexi Alberts Counseling

Lexi is a queer mixed-race woman and practices from Multicultural, Feminist, and affirming perspectives. She believes we are the experts in our own experiences, and that you know yourself and your own path of healing and mental health better than anyone else. She wants to provide her expertise and presence as a guide to help you gain a deeper self-understanding, along with the confidence and tools to make the change you want to see in your life.
She believes that prioritizing mental health service availability to BIPOC communities is important to expanding the idea of what wellness can look like and dismantling harmful norms regarding who deserves investment. Her hope is that while her clients might not feel better right away, they feel seen, supported, and a little closer to achieving the goals that brought them to therapy.
In an effort towards disability justice in her practice, Lexi has training and experience in Emotional Support Animal Evaluations. People with disabilities should have equitable access to be able to enjoy where they live and that is why she offers this service.
