Jamie Weber, LICSW (she/they),Clinical Social Worker and Mental Health Activist
Jamie (she,her/they,them) is colonizer & colonized. She is a is a descendant of both European settlers and forced Irish migrants and the Yakama Nation. They are a clinical social worker, creative and poet who encourages queer and BIPOC people and communities to reclaim their right to practices of liberation, abundance and to live in complete opposition to all things colonial. On their Instagram page @kinriverhealing, Jamie shares Indigenous inspiration, calls to action and her dreams of freedom. Jamie is an educator sharing medicine of empowerment to unlearn the lies and violence of the mental health industrial complex and reclaim regenerative relationships with self and others.
Jamie is a queer, wounded healer living with complex trauma and ADHD, navigating building liberated intergenerational experience for their two children while living in good enough relation to the complexities of mixed racial and cultural identities. Jamie collaborates with their community and clients to invite patterns of self-determination and liberation to build lives and communities not only devoted to survival. She is committed to reclaiming and practicing Indigenous, holistic and ancestral healing practices.
