Grace Kim, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
My name is Grace Kim (she/her), a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) offering virtual and in office psychiatric care in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut for adults ages 18+.
My practice is shaped by the belief that healing is not a linear process, and that care should never feel coercive or transactional. I believe firmly that my work is not to “fix” people, rather to listen and understand how pain shapes us, how care reshapes us, and how we meet each other in between–in healing. Whether you’re beginning your journey or returning to it, I strive to create a space where you can feel safe, heard, and understood. I work with individuals navigating mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, identity exploration, and disordered eating — always with a lens that honors the whole person, not just symptoms.
I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, thoughtful medication management, and supportive therapy, grounded in a humanistic, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and completed my Master of Science in Nursing at Yale University.
