Hola! I’m Cynthia, (she/her/ella) I am a bilingual therapist in Washington State. I was born and raised in Washington state, but my roots come from Michoacán, Mexico.
My lived experiences have naturally led me into this work. I come from a long line of survival, pushing through ~ echandolé ganas. Like so many of us I was raised on the belief that vulnerability meant weakness – I spent years numbing, over-preforming, and living out of alignment to my inner most self.
Now, as a clinical social worker and mental health therapist, I use a trauma-informed, relational and somatic lens, supporting people in reconnecting with themselves. This can look like learning to slow down and listen to your body, letting your thoughts simply be thoughts, choosing an inner harmony. Whether your navigating through anxiety, overwhelming emotions, first-gen pressures, or people pleasing tendencies – you are not alone. There is nothing “wrong with you” – your mind, body and soul are asking for your attention, intention, and compassion.
I truly believe every human has the capacity to experience a joy, alignment, and peace. I’m so glad you are here, you deserve this!
