I am a first-generation Mexican American, a proud daughter of immigrants, and a wounded healer. The few identities listed above, have organically led me into a space of learning and unlearning the depths of generational trauma, family systems, and roles. As a first gen, I understand the complexities of going through experiences that trigger feelings of otherness and unbelonging. I also understand the stigma of mental health around different cultures, and I invite discussions of social justice, oppression, and (de)stigmatization to be a part of the collective conscious to decolonize the work within myself and others.

I truly believe every human has the capacity to find healing and wholeness, and my purpose is to help you find it. I work from a strength-based, holistic lens. I pride myself in using humility, compassion, and curiosity in sessions. As your therapist, I will meet you with collaboration and will create a space that is unique to your needs.

In therapy, I use Trauma Focused CBT, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Relational Therapy, Mindfulness, and Emotion Focused Therapy.

I am so happy you are here; you deserve this!
