Cori Hill, LPC-S, LMFT-S
As a Black woman, I understand that healing doesn’t happen in a vacuum, because neither does our existence. Our relationships, identities, families, cultures, and lived experiences all shape how we move through the world. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, perfectionism, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I strive to create a space where every part of you is welcome.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply relational. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation where you don’t have to spend half the session explaining your culture, code-switching, or wondering if you’ll be understood. Together, we’ll explore not only what’s happening in your life today, but also the patterns, experiences, and strengths that have brought you here.
While I have extensive experience working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients, I welcome adults, couples, and families from all backgrounds who are looking for thoughtful, culturally responsive care. My work integrates insight-oriented therapy with practical strategies drawn from approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care including eye-movement, desensitization, and reprocessing (EMDR).
Above all, I believe healing isn’t about becoming someone different but about reconnecting with yourself and discovering what’s possible when you have the support, tools, and space to grow. And that includes community. I hope to become a part of yours.
