Brittany Washington, MA, LMFTA
I am Brittany Washington, LMFTA, a compassionate and dedicated mental health specialist with expertise in neurobehavioral therapy, compassion-focused therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. I specialize in supporting individuals who are navigating anxiety, trauma, and chronic illnesses, particularly epilepsy and psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES). My focus is on helping those who feel overwhelmed by emotional distress and life transitions, offering validation, tools for resilience, and a path toward healing. As a proud descendant of the Gullah Geechee people, I bring a unique cultural perspective to my practice, drawing from ancestral traditions and spiritual practices that align with my clients’ needs. This allows me to create a safe and empowering space where clients can explore both psychological and spiritual aspects of their healing journey. My goal is to help clients recognize patterns rooted in generational trauma, foster personal growth, and cultivate holistic well-being.
