Hi! I’m Brittany (she/her), a Queer, mixed-race Thai and white therapist here to support Millennials and Gen-Zers navigating the chaos of parenthood, trying to survive the modern dating scene, or struggling to turn off that ‘high-functioning’ anxiety and constant people-pleasing. I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming and dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and celebratory space for queer, trans, and gender-expansive individuals. I also have experience supporting active duty military members and their spouses through their unique challenges. The clients I work with often feel like they’re supposed to have it all figured out, struggle with people-pleasing, have a need to overachieve, and still feel like it’s never enough. If this resonates with you, let’s chat. To my fellow parents: I see you. Parenthood is wild, and you deserve a therapist who gets it on your team.

We won’t pretend there’s a ‘quick fix’ for everything—sometimes there isn’t a solution, and that’s okay. My approach is intuitive and client-led, which means I’m following your lead because you’re the expert of your own life. I practice from a Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) lens which provides framework for challenging thoughts and beliefs that may be getting in the way of feeling aligned. Theoretics aside, I’m here to provide support, empathetic and honest guidance, and a few laughs along the way.

I believe that therapy should be accessible and sustainable. If you do not have insurance, or I do not currently accept your insurance, please reference the Anti-Oppressive Rate Structure offered. I’m currently accepting Sentara Medicaid and Commercial, Aetna Commercial, Optum, and UnitedHealth Care insurance plans.
