TeleBehavioral Health 2026 Supporting School Behavioral Health Through Telehealth

Telehealth has emerged as a practical and scalable strategy for expanding access to behavioral health services in schools, particularly in rural, frontier, and underserved communities. This session will explore evidence-based models for school-based telebehavioral health, implementation considerations, and lessons learned from statewide initiatives designed to increase access, workforce capacity, and student support. Presenter: Dr. Aaron J. Fischer is an Associate Professor of School Psychology at Utah State University and adjunct professor in educational psychology, pediatrics, and psychiatry at University of Utah. He is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 20 years of experience supporting schools, families, and communities through behavioral and mental health initiatives.
